Biography
M. Faisal Siddiqi is lawyer practicing in the High Courts and Supreme Court of Pakistan and has a varied general litigation practice in constitutional, civil and criminal law and specializes in pro-bono human rights litigation. Mr. Siddiqi has extensively worked towards the enforcement and protection of fundamental rights of citizens of Pakistan especially the marginalized communities and has instituted cases for the enforcement of labour rights, women rights and education rights. He is a Founding Member and the Executive Director of the ‘Rasheed Razvi Centre for Constitutional and Human Rights’, one of the Founding Trustees of the ‘Legal Aid Foundation for Victims of Rape and Sexual Assault’, a Board Member of the ‘Pakistan Institute Labour Education and Research’ and Board Member of ‘PeaceNiche’ that runs The Second Floor (T2f). He is a former visiting Human Rights fellow at the London School of Economic and Political Science and McGill University and has been published academically.
