Rasheed Razvi Centre for Constitutional and Human Rights (RCCHR)

In view of the common struggle of the Pakistan Institute of Labour Education and Research (PILER) and Mr. Rasheed A. Razvi towards the enforcement of the constitutional and human rights of the citizens of Pakistan, PILER established the ‘Rasheed Razvi Centre for Constitutional and Human Rights’(RCCHR) which will initially act as a unit of PILER. The Founding Members of the RCCHR are Mr. Rasheed Razvi, Senior Advocate, Mr. Faisal Siddiqi, Advocate, and Mr. Karamat Ali.The objectives of the Rasheed Razvi Centre for Constitutional and Human Rights are three fold. Firstly, the Center seeks enforcement of fundamental human rights on a macro level by instituting public interest petitions before the High Courts and the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Secondly, providing legal aid and assistance through a team of dedicated lawyers to various individuals, organizations and victims especially members of the labour community. Thirdly, spreading awareness of constitutional and human rights among the citizens through various publications and events including but not limited to seminars and workshops.
